2012-04-24"Individualized" JAC V1 Offers New Solutions from MPV to Commercial Travel Vehicle
Commercial travel vehicles are most likely to greet a new era of individualization and say good-buy to uniform product modes. At the 2012 Auto Show in Beijing, JAC V1, which is regarded as the new benchmark of European MPV, stood out from its competitors for its individualized solutions to MPV, which exerted a significant impact upon the MPV users.

MPV is one of car market segmentations in China in recent years. Different from other manufacturers with emphasis on high-end or luxury cars, JAC V1 brought this Auto Show a long-axis car and a long-axis short-overhang car, which represent two individualized 9-seated MPV solutions, and accordingly infused the Show with an utterly new concept of "individualized MPV solution".
For its overall design, which is accomplished by JAC Torino Design Center, JAC V1 remains eye-catching. Its forward-control wide-bodied European style allows full expression of currently fashionable MPV design concept: compactness, streamline, fashion and majesty. "'Changing as needed' is where the selling point of V1 MPV lies," said Lin Xiaohu, general manager of JAC MPV Company, "MPV is one of JAC V1's high-end product lines, including the long-axis and the short overhang series and offering 6 solutions currently. We will offer our users one-stop service from schemes to after-sales. And we are aimed to become an expert on individualized solution."
Middle-class touring car rolls down the pyramid of car market
The middle-class touring car put to the market by JAC V1 drew wide interest and attention from spectators as well. V1 touring car, similar to V1 MPV in appearance, is fitted out with various functions such as bedroom, lounge, kitchen and even toilet, and allows the simultaneous accommodation of 5-6 passengers. Its overall style is compact but not simple, fashionable but not luxuriant. Offering the warmth of family, it stimulates the desire of car users to travel in it.
Actually, touring cars and travel on touring cars are widely popular in European countries. But their preventing prices make them inaccessible to Chinese users. "As an advocator of middle-class touring cars, JAC V1 suggests the consumption of touring cars that are more practical and accessible to ordinary people." Lin Xiaohu argued that the touring car should not be confined to the affluent class but accessible to the rising middle-class with financial strength who are longing for "living on the road".
The concept of "middle-class touring car" advocated by JAC V1 is welcomed by the tourism sector. On the Auto Show, Mangocity, which specializes in online tourism operation, announced its cross-sector cooperation with JAC V1 in jointly launching a tour campaign entitled " V1 Tour 'Home' Plan", which is aimed to offer an opportunity of traveling in touring cars to users who love traveling and stress their families.
