Chinese auto maker JAC Motors has rooted in Morocco. The representative of JAC in Morocco is SDAMA Corporation (subsidiary company of Optorg), which has introduced 5 new models vehicles into Morocco in 2011. A journalist of this newspaper was invited by JAC Motors and came to visit JAC headquarters in Hefei. The main purpose of travel is to break the prejudice of 'Made in China' and let people recognize Chinese auto manufacturers have become mature and excellent. In the area of light& heavy duty trucks, the range of products becomes richer and covers tractor, truck, mini truck and others. JAC Motors is the challenger of this segment markets. The vision of JAC is'Better Products, Better World'and actually JAC has rooted in Western Africa and Algeria markets and now is making efforts to lay the foundation in Morocco and makes it to be the third largest market in Africa. Besides, JAC passenger cars have achieved great success in Algeria and they will be introduced into Morocco in the near future.

In fact, JAC product line covers passenger car, MPV, truck, bus chassis and some engineering machineries. The distributors of JAC have spread over 100 countries and there are 12 assembly plants in Europe, Asia, Latin America and Middle East. It has more than 27000 employees. And its capacity is 500,000 units' engines, 32,000 units' commercial vehicles and 38,000 units' light-duty. In recent three years, JAC sold more than 312,000 units in 2009 and over 466,000 units in 2011 with total turnover of $5.2 billion.

JAC Motors is Top 10 Chinese auto manufacture and Top 3 Chinese auto exporter. In 2011, JAC exported 66258 units'vehicles, up by more than 200% year on year. In terms of R&D, JAC has invested $100 million to establish internationalized R&D center, with the area of 49173 square meters, and including R&D center, passenger car, commercial vehicle, heavy truck Certification Centre and designing institutes.

History: In 1990, the first JAC vehicle exported to Bolivia. Now, JAC trucks have drove across hundreds of countries: Africa, Asia, Europe, America, and Middle East. In 2011, JAC has accumulated sold 466459 units' vehicles, among which 14% were exported, 66258 units with the turnover more than $5.2 billion.
